Church Family,

It has been a long and wild 2 weeks.  Much has changed in church life and life in general.

I have been encouraged to see how we have been able to roll with things adjusting on the fly.  As well as how well everyone continues to check on one another.  I know we are all praying that this is only a short-term “normal”.

So where are we and what is the plan:

1. We are going to attempt a live, interactive, online, Sunday School Class Sunday at 9:30 am.

If you are interested in join the class you can email me at [email protected].  I will send you a link so you can participate.

Once you click on the link a download will begin.  Once it is complete you will need to click the EXEC file and allow it to install on your computer / tablet / or phone.  In order to see and hear each other, your equipment will need a camera and microphone.

2. Sunday Worship will be online beginning at 10:45 am.

I apologize for the time change, however, to make time for Sunday School Class we need to alter the schedule. Hopefully, we will be able to keep this schedule.

To view worship this week we have tried to make it simpler. All you will need to do is navigate to our web page, www.fbcgrayson.org.

The worship should be in count down mode or airing.

We will later post the video to Facebook (FBC Grayson GA) and have it on the web page, if that works better for you. By the way, as of Wednesday evening, there had been over 400 people who viewed our worship on Facebook from last Sunday.

Pray for David and me as we work toward Easter.  Begin now thinking, praying and inviting someone to join us no matter how we may worship!

3. Thank you, thank you, thank you! When you read the attachment, you will see our giving statement. Even though the past two weeks have been challenging, you have been faithful givers.  Because of your faithfulness we are doing pretty well.  Not to mention, because you continue to give, you continue to support our missionaries around the world.

You can continue to give through online banking, by mail, or by dropping off at the church.  We also have the capability for online giving through our web site now.  Navigate to our web page and click the giving button.

I might add there are a couple of fees that we are charged, so you if are so led to do so, you can add the surcharges to your gift.  It amounts to about $3.00 per $100 given with a credit card or about $2.00 if you use a bank draft.

I know this is a lot to process.  I am glad it is in print; I would never be able to remember it all.  I will have a shorter version on our web page later under COVID-19 Update.

Let me conclude by saying Thank You again.  Your prayers, encouraging words, and patience with the vast number of changes, have meant more than can be expressed.
