COVID 19 Update 4
Church Family,
Earlier this week, Governor Kemp released a new order to begin reopening businesses. This new order allows churches to Worship with numerous guidelines and significant restrictions. As you can imagine there is much to work through. While all of us want to get back to normal, the truth is life is not normal yet.
While I appreciate Governor Kemp’s recognition of religious liberty, and that churches provide “essential services,” the need for caution and patience, so as not to expose more people to covid-19, are significant factors to consider. These are matters of life and death. Governor Kemp stated himself a church’s best option for now is to remain online.
Our Leadership and Safety Teams are working through the guidelines and restrictions, to formulate a plan for when and how, we will begin to worship in person.
We have decided now is not the time to reopen our church for Worship, Sunday School, or activities. The health of our people and our city is a high priority. We believe our decision is in the best interest of our church and our community at this time.
I know you continue to pray as we navigate the ever-changing times.
To prepare for Sunday, please find the attached prayer guide and bulletin.
Sunday School will begin at 9:30 am via GoToMeeting.
Worship will begin at 10:45 am, we will begin the live stream about 10 minutes prior to the service starting, there are three options for your convenience:
